Feel the wonder of flight in a blend of words and music

A special cabaret concert weaving music and readings from a pioneer of flying takes place in Harborough this weekend.

The Harborough Collective presents the event at the Jubilee Hall, Congregational Church, on Saturday, November 5, at 7.30pm.

The evening will blend music and readings from Antoine Saint-Exupery, exploring the pre-war world of the pioneer pilot, evoking the wonder and romance of early flight.

The music will include works by Satie, Ravel and Debussy alongside Montmartre Chanson.

The audience will sit at candlelit tables, with a bar open from 7pm.

The Harborough Collective comprises David Le Page and Catherine Leech on violins, Morgan Goff on viola, Christopher Allan on cello, Elena Hull on bass and Graham Padden as narrator.
