The latest art exhibition by Great Bowden Visual Arts (GBVA) will be held at the village hall at the weekend.
It runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. This year’s exhibition will be their tenth anniversary.
There will be the usual colourful mix of paintings, photography, ceramics and textiles with special sections for young artists from Great Bowden Primary School who have created a large batik wall depicting buildings, animals and flowers found in the village.
This art project was made possible by funding from Harborough Decorative and Fine Arts Society and will be displayed at the school after the exhibition.
The event was first organised in 2004 and organised as part of the village festival by the late Alec Riddett.
