Sizzling 1950s R&B combo The Revolutionaires will open the inaugural Cars & Stripes all-American auto festival at Rockingham this August Summer Bank Holiday weekend.
The high-energy four-piece band, popular on the UK and European blues scenes, will kick-off the festival at the Northamptonshire venue with a gig in the evening of Sunday, August 30, ahead of a full-day of on-track and off-track entertainment on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Revolutionaires are influenced by 1940s and 1950s R&B, particularly artists Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, and Roy Brown.
