His 80th-minute finish made the game safe at the HTFC Community Ground after Callum Milne and Daniel Forbes - who has netted in the past two fixtures - had previously got themselves on the scoresheet.

There was a frustrating defeat for Lutterworth Town, however, as they were beaten 4-2 at Kong Park by second-bottom Sleaford Town.

Marshal Keenan and William Clarke scored their consolations.

Harborough and Lutterworth played out a 3-3 draw at the HTFC Community Ground on Saturday.

Daniel Forbes gave the hosts an early lead before Keenan levelled for the Swifts.

Wakefield and Callum Steer made it 3-2 to the Bees, only for Keenan and Jordan Small to secure a share of the spoils.

“It was a cracking game to be honest, a good local derby,” Harborogh boss Stuart Spencer said.

“To be brutally honest, I was disappointed we didn’t get the full return after leading initially 1-0, and then 3-1.

“At that point we were dominating and had the chance to go 4-1 up, which would have finished the game off.

“But I’ve got to give Lutterworth credit as well.

“They got one back, possibly against the run of play, and that gave them belief.

“At 3-3 it could have gone either way and either team could have won it 4-3.

“It wasn’t Lutterworth’s fault we didn’t take the chance to make it 4-1.

“It was a real humdingerof a game, a good one for the fans and neutrals.”

Lutterworth boss Josh Dixon added: “It was a good comeback, but again we could have been out of sight.

“Harborough dominated the first half and the start of the second half, but by the end it could have finished 6-6.

“It’s always good to come from behind, but unfortunately it’s the story of our season.

“We need to be getting in front and staying there.”
