Twelve pupils from Hallaton Primary School were the first to test a new Church Trail in the village, set up by the National Federation of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

nthea Kenyon, who compiled the trail at St Michael and All Angels Church, said: “The trail was done in the form of 13 illustrated questions, with a corresponding sheet to check the findings.

“The children enjoyed exploring the building, seeking out the objects on their question sheets and filling in the answers.”

Priest-in-charge The Revd Richard Curtis, warden Denis Kenyon, June Graveson of NADFAS, and Mrs Mann, their teacher, helped the children with the trail.
