Harborough Rugby Club youngsters have been selected from a large number of applicants to form the ball boy and girl team for the forthcoming Rugby World Cup matches in Leicester.
A club spokesman said: “Our application was based on our wide appeal as a community rugby club, within both boys and girls junior and mini rugby.
“We are a large club yet continue to grow and despite our size, we offer all our players the chance to represent us in our teams, irrespective of ability.
“We follow the core values of our sport; discipline, respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and enjoyment.
“These are values that equip our young players well, both on the pitch and off of it, now and in later life.
“Sport provides opportunities for youngsters to develop, but also to create life memories and friendships and in applying to be the ball team for Leicester.”
