Woman charged with manslaughter after death of baby in Lutterworth
A 30-year-old woman has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a seven-month-old baby in Lutterworth.
The charges relate to an incident in Lutterworth on March 22 last year which resulted in the death of the baby girl three days later.
Chuanfang Zheng, of Mortlock Close, Southwark, London, appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) and has been remanded into custody.
She will appear at Leicester Crown Court on March 2.
