The main road between Claybrooke Magna and Lutterworth was closed yesterday (Sunday Feb 9) after a 100 foot ash tree fell in the high winds and blocked the road.
Pictured here are local residents, farmers and a member of armed forces coming together to clear the debris.
The high winds also let to the cancellation of many events as well as train services.
Drivers and commuters are today (Monday) being asked again to watch out for high winds.
