A group of volunteers painted, washed, weeded, planted and litter-picked at Harborough Rugby Club on Sunday.
The group was taking part in a national scheme organised by NatWest aimed at sprucing up rugby clubs.
They carried out lots of work including painting walls and strimming, weeding and planting in green areas.
Club president Mike King said: “It was a wonderful effort from our volunteers.
“It was particularly good to have our younger members so involved in the work and this has had a positive impact on our club surroundings.”
Mr King said the cleanup was so successful that it would now become an annual event at the club.
