Update: Mobility scooter rider, 77, has died after collision with car

A mobility scooter rider who was involved in a serious collision in Market Harborough at the weekend has died.

The collision happened at about 12.50pm on Sunday November 1 on Welland Park Road, at the junction with Northampton Road, and involved a red Rascal mobility scooter and a silver Toyota Auris.

The 77-year-old scooter rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire, where he died earlier today (Tuesday, November 3).
