Councillors have agreed unanimously to a plan to build 28 new homes in Lubenham.
The houses would be on a site to the west of Lubenham, fronting Main Street, the A4304.
The site is bordered by Westgate Lane and existing houses to the east and open fields to the west.
Lubenham Parish Council commented that they had concerns about access from the A4304 to the new development.
But District Council officers said the proposal would not adversely affect local highway safety and would contribute positively to the Council’s housing land supply.
