Two men cut free by firefighters after crash last night

Two men were taken to hospital after a car crash in the Harborough district last night (Thursday).

It happened at about 11.45pm on the A5199 Leicester Road in Husbands Bosworth.

Firefighters from Harborough had to cut free the two men from the car wreckage.

Three fire pumps attended the scene and found two men trapped inside the vehicle. Only one car was involved in the crash, according to the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service daily report log.

The men were then taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary, said the report log.
