Busy Harborough road will be closed to traffic for three days

One of Market Harborough’s busiest roads is to be shut to traffic for three days from tomorrow (Wednesday).

Hundreds of drivers will be hit as Welland Park Road will be closed during daytime hours until the weekend.

The route will be sealed off between the Northampton Road and Farndon Road junctions from 7.30am until 6pm every day as essential carriageway patching work is carried out.

Leicestershire County Council has apologised for any “inconvenience” the closure will cause motorists and diversions will be signposted.
