A movellous montage of your ‘mo’ pictures are being sought by the Mail to help us design a special commemorative page in the newspaper for the last edition of the month on Thursday, November 27.

We now need people across the town to send us pictures of their hairy top-lip ticklers – the more the better!

The idea is the brainchild of editor Neil Pickford, who said: “We thought it would be a special way of marking Mo’ket Harborough which has really captured the imagination of so many people in the town.

“So we now need people to start sending us their mo pictures now.”

Market Harborough is just the second place in the world and the first ever in the UK to team up as an entire town to raise money for the cause, Prostate Cancer UK.

The fun Mo’ket Harborough activities continued this week with the usual array of enthusiasm and spirt of fun.

Little Bowden Women’s Institute members proved they are a high-brow group by getting into the spirit of Mo’ket Harborough when, for one night only, they became Little Brow-den WI.

Being unable to grow moustaches was no barrier to getting in on the Movember action.

Instead, the Mo Sistas paid £1 for the privilege of sticking or drawing on the wackiest possible eyebrows, with all proceeds going to the Movember Foundation.

Nine of the 34 Duncan Mo’ray Wines ’tache-growing team attended a wine tasting at the Adam and Eve Street shop on Friday. They raised £380 with a bottle-shaped Movember raffle.
