Thief targets sheds in district village

A thief has broken into four sheds and outhouses in a village near Market Harborough.

The thefts happened overnight on Saturday, October 24/Sunday, October 25 in Great Bowden.

The shed thefts follow a series of thefts from cars in the same village.

Pc Malc Roberts, based in Market Harborough police station, said local police were investigating the thefts, and one suspect has been arrested.

But he urged village residents, particularly in Great Bowden, to ensure all property was secure at night, or when they were not at home.
