A charity calendar featuring tasteful naked pictures was launched at a district pub last week.
The calendar went on sale at The Chequers pub in Swinford at 8pm last Thursday, where a launch event took place.
The calendar is helping villager Emma Drake raise money for the British Heart Foundation, as part of fundraising efforts for her participation in next year’s London Marathon.
It features her and friends and is inspired by the original famous “calendar girls” of Rylstone and District WI.
The Swinford women are hoping to raise more than £2,000 for the cause.
The idea came about as a dare from the 13-year-old daughter of one of women.
They used The Chequers pub for the photoshoot.
The launch night was full of supportive family and friends who were full of anticipation.
Villager Emma Priest is also organising a charity raffle to help raise money for the cause with a wide range of prizes being donated by local businesses. Raffle tickets cost £1 and calendars are £10.
