People are being urged to donate their old books, or new ones this month to help replenish the stocks of a Market Harborough charity shop.
The town’s branch of WH Smith, in High Street, is acting as a drop-off point for books from today (Thursday) – which coincides with World Book Day – until March 31.
The books will then be given to the town’s Age UK charity book shop at 16 The Square.
Last year’s link-up between WH Smith and the charity saw £1,000 raised in Leicestershire.
Tony Donovan, the executive director of the charity in the county, said: “We are very grateful for the support WH Smith is giving us to help raise awareness of our charity as well as much-needed funds.”
