The organ at St Mary’s church in Lutterworth has been sold to a church in Malta.

The organ had been “effectively unusable”, and would have cost at least £50,000 to repair, said vicar Charlie Styles.

“The church in Lutterworth has grown quite significantly and we’re re-modelling different parts of the building to accommodate that growth” the Rev Styles added.

“And the organ will be restored and played again.”
