A youngster from Bringhurst Primary School has won a national art contest.
The Times Education Supplement competition saw thousands of pupils from across the UK create portraits of their teachers using different art materials.
Spike Jordon (6) won £100 of art supplies after being picked as the winner with his portrait of teacher Mrs Muto produced in the style of Andy Warhol.
Spike said: “I used water colours and wanted it to be really bright and colourful. I’m so happy that I have won.”
