A power cut has hit the Coventry Road area of Market Harborough this morning (Monday).
The cut briefly affected Market Harborough Medical Centre, but its supply had returned by about 8.20am.
About a dozen other properties in the area could be without power until 4.30pm today, according to the Western Power Distribution website.
The cut has been caused by an underground cable fault.
It is the second power cut to hit Harborough town centre in five days.
Residents reported the power going out in The Broadway and Meadow Street areas of town and in parts of Great Bowden on Wednesday.
Twitter users from Harborough were commenting on Wednesday’s cut.
A spokesman for Western Power Distribution said on its Twitter account on Wednesday: “We’re sorry to customers affected by the power cut in Market Harborough, LE16.
“We estimate all customers will have power restored by 9.30pm. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.”
