Market Harborough’s central Post Office will re-open on Tuesday, May 19 with longer hours, after a two week refurbishment programme.
The Post Office, within the Mercury News Shop in St Mary’s Place, closed temporarily on May 6.
The new-look branch will open all day on Saturday. The new hours will be from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 9am to 5.30pm on Wednesday.
Post Office area manager Lesley Frankland said: “This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office.”
During the St Mary’s Place closure, alternative town Post Offices are available at 19-21 Connaught Road, and 45-47 Western Avenue, Market Harborough.
