Recital trust’s visit to mainland Europe was a rousing success

Three choirs from the Great Bowden Recital Trust have completed a successful tour of the Netherlands and Belgium.

The trust’s adult vocal, adult flute and saxophone choirs travelled to Valkenburg and Maastricht in the Netherlands, and to Leuven in Belgium, where the choirs performed at the town hall (pictured above).

Trust chairman Andrew Cartwright said: “It was a fantastic tour and we very much enjoyed performing with two lovely Dutch choirs in three stunning venues to packed audiences.”

The choirs will next be performing closer to home – at the Congregational Church’s Jubilee Hall in Bowden Lane, Market Harborough, at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday).

Tickets are free, but still need to be booked as seating is limited. To reserve places, email

All donations received on the night will be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
