The Braybrooke Morris Men entertained shoppers in Harborough and helped raise more than £900 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The dancing took place during a soggy Harborough Carnival on June 6.
But the dancing troupe said that the rain did nothing to dampen the generosity of shoppers, who contributed a total of £905.
Bill Hewitt, from the group, said: “Considering the rain and distractions due to Harborough Carnival it was a good day for the charity.
“Braybrooke Morris Dancers and the clog side Hips ‘n’ Haws provided some entertainment by dancing in the rain. It takes more than a bit of damp to stop us dancing and the same applies to Hips ‘n’ Haws.”
