Following the success of its inaugural year in 2014, Great Bowden Music Fest will take place in the parish church of St Peter and St Paul from July 2-5.
The church will house a Steinway piano and host local professional musicians, international guests, young talent, choral music and jazz.
Christopher White, violinist and artistic director of the festival, said: “Audiences were overwhelmed with the quality and variety of the concerts last year. The enthusiasm and support of that event has encouraged exciting new developments such as a jazz night, adding to the festival’s aim to provide high quality music-making in an intimate setting.”
The Rev James Shakespeare, vicar of Great Bowden, said: “The fest promises an array of musical talent and world-class performance. It’s an event not to be missed.”
Coinciding with the festival is an art display featuring the winning artists from Great Bowden visual arts group’s “People’s Choice” and a flower festival in the parish church from June 28.
