Churches Together in Harborough is arranging an election hustings for Thursday November 28, at 7.30 pm in the Methodist Church Hall, Northampton Road, Market Harborough.

It will be chaired by Revd Bryony Wood, Team Vicar at St Peter and St Paul Great Bowden.

Derek Williams, Churches Together in Harborough communications officer, said: " It will be an opportunity to hear from candidates and to ask them questions.

"The aim of the two-hour event will be to generate light and understanding and turn down the heat of rhetoric and thus assist all who come to make informed decisions about how to use their vote. We apologise for the short notice but it has been difficult to find a suitable date."
