The Harborough area’s top cop is meeting the public of the Harborough North villages beat next week.

Neighbourhood Policing Area Commander Inspector Lou Cordiner, wants to hear what matters to villagers to the north, west and east of Market Harborough, including the Kibworths, Fleckney, Great Glen and the Langtons.

The meeting is on Monday, July 20 at Church Langton Community Hall, which is in Stonton Road, Church Langton LE16 7SZ, from 6.30pm to 8pm.

There will be an opportunity for informal networking from 6pm.

The session will start with an introduction from Inspector Cordiner, and will lead into a general question and answer session for members of the public.

Inspector Cordiner said: “This is a great opportunity for residents of Harborough to come along and ask me any questions they have about policing in their local area.”

“I will answer any question and would really like to get a good idea of the general feeling towards the police in this area.

“I want to know what matters to the community on this beat.”
