Police are appealing for witnesses to a road crash in Harborough district

A red W registration Peugeot 306 was travelling along Drayton Road near Nevill Holt around 2.30pm on Thursday January 21 when it left the road and was subsequently found overturned in a ditch.

The occupants of the vehicle left the scene before the emergency services arrived.

Two men, aged 24 and 30, have been arrested in connection with the incident and were released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A police spokesman said: “If you were travelling along this road around the time of the collision and saw the vehicle being driven or witnessed the collision then we need to speak to you.”

Anyone with any information should call PC 1660 Doug Simpson on 101, quoting crime reference number 10174.
