Photos of a super Santa spectacular in Market Harborough!
Boys and girls, mums and dads and grandmas and grandads turned wintry Welland Park into a riot of red and white.
The fabulous festive afternoon Christmas fun run – featuring both 2k and 5k courses – raised about £1000 for local charities.

Delighted Brian Corcoran, of organisers Race Harborough, said: “This was our sixth Santa fun run and it was an absolutely brilliant day.
“It’s sponsored by Snap Fitness Market Harborough and it’s a real feelgood event.
“It’s such a thrill to see so many runners dressed from head to toe in Santa costumes with some of the kids decked out as elves.”
Brian, of Theddingworth, added: “The Santa run really does fire the starting gun on the run-up to Christmas.

“It’s a magnificent community get-together at this time of year.
“We welcome people of all ages and of all abilities – everyone’s a winner!”
He said just two greyhound entrants, Kevin Powell and Daniel Clarke, were fast enough to catch their superstar dressed as a Christmas pudding.
“We donate £100 to a local charity of their choice as well as supporting the Squires Effect charity, based here in Harborough,” said Brian.

“Georgina Shaw’s pet Luna proudly carried off the best-dressed dog prize, kindly donated by Paws for Walking.
“To top it off staff at Welland Park Café also got behind us as they always do.
“Turkey rolls and hot drinks were on the menu for hungry, thirsty runners on a beautiful December afternoon.”
