Christmas officially started in Market Harborough on Friday evening as the town’s festive lights were switched on.
Crowds gathered in The Square for the big switch-on event which followed the Christmas lantern parade from Welland Park into the town centre.
The event featured carol singing and live music from local musicians, including pupils at Ridgeway Primary School and Robert Smyth Academy.
Santa also put in an appearance and there was a craft fair, food and drink and entertainment from HFM.
