Sporting stars from across the district gathered last night (Thursday) for the Harborough Sports Awards 2015.
This year’s awards ceremony, run by the Harborough Mail, was held at the Three Swans Hotel in Market Harborough and was to recognise the achievements of those involved in the local grassroots sporting scene.

The big winner on the night was 11-year-old kickboxer Amber Jukes who was crowned Junior Sportswoman and took the overall Market Harborough Building Society Choice Award for 2015.
Special guests on the night were Gemma Hillier-Moses and Caitlin Roper who gave inspirational talks on their careers in athletics and triathlon.

Team of the Year – Robert Smyth Academy Rugby Ambassador Team
Inspire a Generation - Brian Corcoran and Amy Kingston
The Disabled Sports Personality - Donald McClean and Adam Spencer
