Union Flags are flying at half mast today (Wednesday) in Market Harborough, in respect to Captain Sir Tom Moore.

The war hero, who inspired so many people during lockdown, died yesterday (Tuesday) aged 100.

The photo attached shows John Morley, president of the Royal British Legion in Market Harborough, with the Union Flag flying at half mast in the Memorial Gardens to salute Captain Tom.

The Union Flag is also flying at half-mast on Harborough District Council’s Symington Building on Adam and Eve Street.
