A new mayor of Lutterworth was elected this week.
Geraldine Robinson will take over the role from Tony Hirons.
Retired school librarian Geraldine is from a Lutterworth family that goes back five generations in the town.
She has been a town councillor for 17 years, and a Harborough district councillor since 2003.
She is also chair of the Town Estates Charity which owns £2m worth of property around Lutterworth.
She will raise money for heart monitors to be based at Lutterworth Health Centre and also an “open charity” that local groups can apply to.
