A club which raises funds for good causes in the Lutterworth area has announced the identity of its new chairman for the forthcoming year.
Lutterworth and District Round Table has chosen Simon Jones, 23, from Bitteswell, to take up the new role.
His predecessor was Paul Johnson, 26.
New chairman Simon said: “Lutterworth and District Round Table is a young vibrant mens club who meet up twice a month on a Monday evening and do a fun activity, which perhaps you wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to do so.
“This can vary from go-karting to a game of skittles at the pub or foot golf to going out for a good Chinese.
“The charity organisation has doubled its attendance over the last two years and we are still on the search for new members.
“The real attraction of Round Table goes beyond this, because once you are involved, there is a mixture of respect, banter and belonging which does not exist elsewhere. Its great light-hearted fun.”
