Motorcyclist seriously injured in a crash at a high-profile Harborough district blackspot
The crash happened today (Monday) on Kibworth Road at Wistow crossroads
A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital today (Monday) after being seriously injured in a crash at a high-profile Harborough blackspot.
The casualty’s Yamaha motorcycle collided with an Audi Q3 car at about 7.10am on Kibworth Road at Wistow crossroads.
“The rider sustained serious injuries and has been taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire,” said Leicestershire Police.
“No one was else was injured in the collision.”

The motorcyclist was heading from Kilby towards Wistow as the car driver travelled from Fleckney towards Leicester Road when the crash happened.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle beforehand is urged to contact police urgently.
“Also, if anyone has video recording equipment installed in their vehicles we ask that they check the footage and contact us if they have captured any part of the incident,” said police.
