Users of the mobile library service living in rural parts of the Harborough area are being reminded that the service has undergone a number of changes since the new year.
From January 1, Leicestershire County Council’s new timetable will run monthly, bringing books and other library services to all Leicestershire communities.
Books can now be borrowed for a month and can also be returned to town and village libraries, as well as the local mobile service.
The mobile library service visits communities that do not have a static library throughout Leicestershire, as well as some urban areas.
The times and locations of some stops have changed, for a full list of where your nearest mobile library is and when visit www.leics.gov.uk/mobilelibrary.
The service which visits communities in the Harborough area is run from Melton Mowbray Library.
For more information, contact the library on 0116 305 3646 or email email@example.com.
The library visits villages on the same day every week in a four week rota.
The service which visits villages in the Lutterworth area (including North Kilworth) is run from Lutterworth Library and can be contacted on 0116 305 3619 or lutterworthlibrary.leics.gov.uk.
