Four men have appeared at court charged with a string of burglaries, two of which happened in the Harborough area.
Blossom Tali Alfie Smith (24), of Barlestone Road, Bagworth, Leicestershire; Harry Smith (22), of Low Road, Stowbridge, Norfolk; Nelson Loveridge (29), of Friday Bridge, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire; and Danny Rainford (24), of Seadyke Road, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, all appeared before Leicester Crown Court last Wednesday.
They have been charged with 24 counts of conspiring to commit a burglary, other than a dwelling, between April 30 and September 20 last year.
The charges relate to thefts in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Lincolnshire, Thames Valley, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.
A spokesman for Leicestershire Police told the Mail this week that two of the offences took place in the Harborough district – one in Market Harborough town centre and one in Tur Langton.
The four men were also charged with drugs offences and two counts of house burglary in Leicestershire.
The hearing was adjourned until later this year.
