The truck pull in Market Harborough in August raised £7,262, organiser Gary Gardner has told the Mail.
The money will go to three charities: the British Heart Foundation, Action for Children and Fusiliers Aid Society.
“I’m really pleased” said Mr Gardner. “Back next year if we get the same support!”
At the event on Sunday, August 30, teams of 15 pulled the trucks a mile from the edge of town to The Square.
The Truck Pull was part of a family fun day, which also included entertainment on a town centre stage.
A DVD of the day is available on 07809 635014.It costs £5 - the money goes to charity.
