Man, 24, dies after crash on the A14 near Market Harborough yesterday

A man has died after a collision on the A14 yesterday.

A 24-year-old man has died after the van he was driving was involved in a crash on the A14 yesterday.

The collision took place at about 11.15am on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 1 and 2 and involved a white Renault articulated lorry and a black Volkswagen Crafter van.

The driver of the lorry, a 68-year-old man, was shaken but not injured.

Sadly, the 24-year-old man driving the van died shortly after arriving at University Hospital Coventry.

The name of the individual has not yet been released.
