A Big Bike Ride is being held in Misterton on Sunday, August 16, to help raise money for good causes.

The non-competitive event begins and ends in the grounds of Misterton Hall and is being organised by the Rotary Club of Lutterworth.

There are four routes to choose from, an 11 mile family route which begins at 10.30am, 23 miles which takes in the Naseby Battlefield site beginning at 10am, 39 miles which sees riders travel to Mowsley from 10am and a 62 mile route for serious bikers which begins at 9am.

Riders will be treated to a hog roast at the end of the event from midday at Misterton Hall.

Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for under 12s. The entry price includes the hog roast.

Proceeds will support Epilepsy Action, the Lutterworth Rotary Disabled Sports Team which competes in national events and Rotary Charities.
