WHILE you polish off the turkey left-overs and start to make get-fit plans for 2013, don’t forget that the Harborough Mail is out today (Thursday, December 27) as normal.

The front page story highlights a fundraising effort in aid of The Squires Effect, the charity set up after 30-year-old North Kilworth woman Claire Squires died during this year’s London Marathon.

A glitzy Hollywood-style ball is being arranged in Sheffield for the cause, featured Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace - all the more apposite as Flavia won this year;s show last week with dance partner Louis Smith.
