Hundreds of homes have been affected after workers appear to have cut through internet cables near Market Harborough.

Residents have been told that BT cables were accidentally cut yesterday (Thursday) during ongoing work in Station Road, North Kilworth.

This has affected up to 400 homes in the area.

Local resident Aiden Perks said his family home has been without an internet connection for 24 hours.

He said: "It has been chaotic with homeschooling and trying to work without an internet connection."

Villagers in North Kilworth have been told that the power might go down for a bit while the problem is solved.
