A Winter Wellbeing Fair is being held in Harborough next week.
The aim is for visitors to find out how to stay healthy this winter.
The fair, organised by Healthwatch Leicestershire, will be visiting Market Harborough Methodist Church, in Northampton Road, next Thursday, December 11.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get free health checks for hearing and blood pressure.
There will also be the chance to talk to staff from Leicestershire’s health and social care services, including ambulance workers, the Social Service, GPs and dentists.
Representatives of Change4Life, which is a Public Health England campaign, will also be there to provide information and advice on staying healthy this winter.
Healthwatch Leicestershire, the health watchdog, will also be asking people to share their experience of local services.
Healthwatch Leicestershire chairman Rick Moore said: “The fair is a fantastic opportunity to get a free health check as well as tips from health and social care professionals.”
