Residents can get to know their local beat bobby a bit better in an informal setting during an event taking place in Market Harborough this Wednesday.

All are welcome to the “Cuppa with a Copper” drop-in sessions at Harborough District Council’s Symington Building offices in Adam and Eve Street between 11.30am-2pm and 3.30-5.30pm on the day.

In the morning session, representatives from Leicestershire Fire Service, the district council’s environmental noise team and the county’s youth offender service Impact will also be on hand to chat to people over tea, coffee and biscuits about any issues they have.

Meanwhile, between 2pm and 3.30pm, members of the Harborough District Community Safety Partnership will be giving a presentation about staying safe online.
