Harborough lottery winner gives £1,000 to shop that sold ticket
When a regular customer at a Market Harborough shop won £75,000 on the Lottery, he wanted to thank the staff who sold him the ticket.
So the retired town man, who asked not to be named, gave £1,000 of his winnings to be shared amongst the four workers at the Connaught Road Post Office and shop.
“It’s very nice of him” said postmaster Vipal Pabari. “It’s great to be a lucky shop, but it’s even better to have such lovely customers. We really appreciate all their support.”
