A chartered surveyor has been appointed to the role of land director with a Market Harborough firm as it embarks on an ambitious growth plan.
Langton Development, of Millers Yard, off Church Square in Harborough, has appointed Anna Roberts to the newly-created role.
She has more than 12 years’ experience of acquiring, developing and disposing of land, which includes working for CBRE in London, the largest commercial real estate services and investment firm in the world.
Anna has worked with many high-profile property owners across the public and private sector. Notable projects include her involvement with the London Development Agency where she advised on securing about 500 acres within the Olympic Park. She has also worked as a strategic land consultant for several national developers.
Anna said: “I am very excited about joining the team.
“I am really impressed by Langton Developments’ specialist mind-set and track record in purchasing, promoting and delivering land for development. We now have ambitious plans to grow on a national basis, working across greenfield and brownfield sites of all sizes.
“We have the scope to accommodate large-scale complex schemes through to small, one-off opportunities and also have the skill set to secure planning permission where others may fail.”
The firm’s Langton Homes arm started work earlier this month on a six-home project at the former Bull’s Head pub site in Tur Langton.
