Harborough buskers raise £380 for cancer charity
Musicians were out in force in Harborough to raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of an annual event.
Organiser Simon Day said: “Busk Harborough for Cancer Research raised £380 on Saturday, May 7.
“This was a wonderful result on a wonderful sunny morning.
“My thanks to all the players that turned out on the bridge, but most important were the shoppers who very kindly donated and supported this event.
“Particular thanks to the crew of HMS Welland that showed up and sang sea songs complete with props including a wooden mermaid.”
