The newly-formed Harborough Rotaract group is hosting a Christmas quiz this Monday (December 21) at Mercado Lounge, in Abbey Street, from 8pm.

Chris Wells, Rotaract president and one of the organisers, said: “There will be a nice variety of round types and questions for everyone as well as exciting prizes for first, second and third place.

“It costs £2 per-person to take part with all proceeds raised going to the Salvation Army.

“This is the second fundraiser Market Harborough Rotaract are doing for charity this month since making a big sleigh with reindeer hamper full to the brim with items for foodbanks in the area, in conjunction with Robert Smyth Academy.”

Harborough Rotaract is part of Rotary Harborough and is aimed at 18 to 30-year-olds to give them an opportunity to meet, network, use the powers of Rotary and raise money for charity.

The group meets on a regular basis and the next takes place on Thursday, January 7, at Mercado Lounge.
