Former pub to be demolished for six homes

The site of a former pub which has become a derelict eyesore is to be demolished to make way for six new homes.

Clearing of the former Bull’s Head site in Tur Langton started this week.

The houses are being built by developers Langton Homes.

The firm said the new scheme will comprise of six “top-quality properties offering three, four, five and six-bedroom options ranging from around £350,000 to £1.2 million”.

The first of the homes could be ready by September.

Langton Homes director Ben Cripps said: “Our plans really will add to the village with designs that are very much in-keeping with the area and embracing all the latest environmentally-friendly options.”
