The Harborough public and business community are invited to the first Harborough Energy Summit to learn how to save money on energy bills.

The Harborough Energy Summit, which is taking place as part of the Leicestershire Business Festival, will be held at The Angel Hotel on Tuesday November 3.

The general public are invited to attend the summit from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, where they can learn how to reduce their energy bills and stay comfortable in the winter months and beyond.

Homeowners and renters alike will be able to gain practical advice on switching energy providers, discuss what financial support is available, and attend the ‘Shedding the Light on Solar’ presentation with information surrounding solar energy.

Local businesses are invited to a morning event, from 8am to noon, where they will be able to join in with a Business Energy Club Taster Meeting, and gain updates on the available support and legislation changes which will affect businesses’ energy and waste, as well as attend expert talks on solar energy for businesses, and join in with networking and Q&A sessions.

Landlords can also benefit from the event, with Landlord Energy Updates running from 7am-9am, 12pm-2pm and 2pm-6.30pm, with local experts sharing tips on how to adhere to new EPC legislation.

The Harborough Energy Summit is being organised by Sustainable Harborough, in conjunction with Andrew Granger. To find out more visit www.sustainableharborough.co.uk
