Faulty sensors in The Symington Building should have been fixed after a number of people complained about lights being on over night.
Following an independent review at The Symington Building, it was found that a small number of lights had remained lit during the evening due to faulty sensors.
The manufacturer visited the building yesterday (Tuesday) to fix the problem.
In a statement Harborough District Council said: “Previous faults with lighting in the building have been identified and resolved quickly, and following this inspection the manufacturer attended on Tuesday July 7, with a view to rectifying the issue as quickly as possible.
“A further update will be provided when available.
“We’d like to thank members of the public for bringing this issue to our attention.”
